What is BS EN 63028 - Resonant Baseline System Specification about?  

BS EN 63028 is based on AirFuel Wireless Power Transfer System Baseline System Specification (BSS). BS EN 63028 defines technical requirements, behaviors, and interfaces used for ensuring interoperability for flexibly coupled wireless power transfer (WPT) systems for AirFuel Resonant WPT. Products implementing this document are expected to follow applicable regulations and global standards.

Why should you use BS EN 63028 - Resonant Baseline System Specification?  

The AirFuel Alliance WPT system transfers power from a single power transmitter unit (PTU) to one or more power receiver units (PRUs.) The power transmission frequency is 6,78 MHz, and up to eight devices can be powered from a single PTU depending on transmitter and receiver geometry and power levels. 

BS EN 63028 defines a specific wireless charging approach based on resonant technology and specifies technical requirements for the AirFuelTM1 resonant wireless power transfer (WPT) systems. BS EN 63028 discusses system description, conformance, and backward, device types, power transfer specifications, system equivalent circuit, and reference parameters, resonator requirements, load parameters, power control specifications, signaling specifications, charge procedure and requirements, bluetooth low energy requirements, and reference PRU for PTU acceptance testing.
