BS EN 1011-8:2018 supersedes BS EN 1011-8:2004. BS EN 1011-8:2018  includes some technical changes with respect to BS EN 1011-8:2004. These include: 

• “Normative references”: revised 
• Clause 7: Process designations brought in accordance with EN ISO 4063 and reference number "143" added 
• Subclause 8.2: Title modified in “Storage and handling” 
• Title of Subclause 10.1 removed 
• Subclauses 10.2 and 10.3 removed
