This document provides the requirements for site verification that an installed system of EIFS, (exterior insulation and finish system), conforms with the requirements of ISO 17738-1, is installed in conformance with ISO 17738-2 and designed in conformance with ISO 17738-3.
The document further covers EIFS installed on prefabricated panels being produced offsite and then installed on site.

The EIFS verification personnel shall record what is visible on site at the time of the site verification and the results of any site testing conducted during the site visit. The EIFS verification personnel shall document by recording and photographing any discrepancies between the project documentation and what is visible on site.
EIFS verification personnel shall be representatives of the building owner, a qualified third-party person or entity, or a qualified third-party evaluation agency, all independent of the EIFS manufacturer or installer.
