What is ISO 30023 about?

ISO 30023 is a series on textiles. A textile is a flexible material made by creating an interlocking bundle of yarns or threads, which are produced by spinning raw fibres into long and twisted lengths. ISO 30023 establishes a system of graphical symbols, intended for use in the marking of workwear articles and protective clothing providing information on the suitability for professional industrial laundering and specifying the use of these symbols in qualifying garments as potentially suitable for industrial laundering.
