What is this standard about?
This standard is about how to forge steel that will used in pressurized equipment. This part specifies the technical delivery conditions for forgings for pressure purposes that are made of ferritic and martensitic steels with specified elevated temperature properties. Chemical composition and mechanical properties are specified.
