What’s changed since the last update?    

BS EN 60371-2:2004 supersedes BS EN 60371-2:1997, which is withdrawn.

BS EN 60371-2:2004 includes some technical changes with respect to BS EN 60371-2:1997. These include: 

• All clauses re-numbered 
• Relevant template of ISO 67 has been added to this standard as Annex A 
• Clause 8: Tensile strength and elongation at break 
• Procedure modified to give "rate of movement" instead of "time limit". Different rate of movement for raw mica as opposed to reinforced and/or impregnated mica
• Clause 11: Stiffness
