BS ISO 15364:2021

What is ISO 15364 about?  

ISO 15364 discusses standards for pressure-vacuum valves for cargo tanks. ISO 15364 specifies the requirements for performance and testing of pressure-vacuum valves. ISO 15364 also specifies the design and in-service performance criteria, operational testing, and maintenance requirements for pressure-vacuum valves used in cargo tanks and devices.

Design or manufacturing in accordance with ISO 15364 does not imply suitability for any given installation, it indicates that certain minimum requirements have been considered and that information necessary for the determination of suitability is provided to the buyer of the equipment.

What’s changed since the last update?  

BS ISO 15364:2021 supersedes BS ISO 15364:2016. BS ISO 15364:2021 includes some technical changes concerning BS ISO 15364:2016. These include:

• Inclusion of requirements for flame transmission tests
