BS EN 1807-2 discusses safety of woodworking machines. BS EN 1807-2 is the second part of the BS EN 1807 series of standards that deals with all significant hazards, hazardous situations and events which are relevant to stationary and displaceable log band sawing machines with either manual or automatic loading and/or unloading, hereinafter referred to as “machines”, designed to cut solid wood, when they are used as intended and under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer, including reasonably foreseeable misuse.

BS EN 1807-2 covers mechanical hazards, electrical hazards, hazards generated by noise, hazards generated by radiation, hazards generated by materials and substances and by neglecting ergonomic principles in machinery design that needs to be taken care of while operating the log sawing machines.
