PD 6697 does not include details of components for seismic design.
PD 6697 2010 contains information from the withdrawn standards BS 5628-1, BS 5628-2, BS 5628-3, and BS 5977-2. The document can be used to support the implementation of BS EN 1996 and also provides guidance on BS EN 1996-1-1 and BS EN 1996-2. PD 6697 2010 provides further details on symbols, materials, and components, as well we design recommendations, how to assess structure load, and best practices for working on site.
