BS EN IEC 60793 is a series on optical fibres. Optical fibre is a flexible, transparent fibre made by drawing glass or plastic to a diameter slightly thicker than that of human hair. BS EN IEC 60793‑2-50 is applicable to fibre categories B-652, B-653, B-654, B-655, B-656 and B-657.
