The term ‘language resource’ refers to a set of speech or language data and descriptions in machine-readable form, used for building, improving or evaluating natural language and speech algorithms or systems, or, as core resources for the software localisation and language services industries.
Lexical markup framework is the ISO International Organization for Standardization ISO/TC37 standard, that provides mechanisms that allow the development and integration of a variety of electronic lexical resource types. Etymology is the study of the history of words. By extension, the etymology of a word means its origin and development throughout history.
ISO 24613‑3 helps you with language resource management using the development of detailed descriptions of common etymological phenomena and/or diachronic information. This can be used to easily and accurately trace back the origin of information which is vital for your documentation, data management and publication needs.
