BS EN 50600-2-4 is the second subpart of the fourth part of the multi-series standard that is applicable to information technology. 

BS EN 50600-2-4 addresses the wide range of telecommunications cabling infrastructures within data centres based upon the criteria and classifications for “availability” within EN 50600-1. 

Note- Safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements are outside the scope of BS EN 50600-2-4 and are covered by other standards and regulations. However, the information given in BS EN 50600-2-4 may be of assistance in meeting these standards and regulations.
