BS ISO 12647-6:2006 Graphic technology. Process control for the production of half-tone colour separations, proofs and production prints. Flexographic printing

BS ISO 12647 specifies a number of process parameters and their values, for preparing colour separations. It can be used for four-colour printing or when producing four-colour prints by:

• Heat–set process
• Sheet-fed process
• Continuous forms of process printing
• Proofing for one of these processes
• Offset proofing for half tone gravure

BS ISO 12647-6 is applies to:

• Publication flexographic printing including
• magazines,
• catalogues
• commercial materials
• packaging
• flexographic printing including labels, boxes and flexible packages
• Half-tone and continuous tone proofing processes that predict the colorimetric results of flexographic printing.
