What is ISO 10466 about?

Why should you use ISO 10466?

Glass-fibre reinforced plastics, also known as GRP, is used for its high mechanical strength, lightweight, corrosion and temperature resistant properties, thermal insulation and smooth internal surface. However, long-term pressure can lead to reduction of stiffness in GRP pipes which further leads to excessive deflections and structural damages.

BS ISO 10466:2021 replaces the first edition ISO 10466:1997.

BS ISO 10466:2021 includes some technical changes with respect to ISO 10466:1997. These are:

Subclause 6.3, "Determination of dimensions", has been amended
