What is BS EN 13084-1 - Free-standing chimneys about?  

BS EN 13084-1 is the first part of the multiple that deals with the general requirements and the basic performance criteria for the design and construction of all types of free-standing chimneys including their liners. A chimney may also be considered as free-standing, if it is guyed or laterally supported or if it stands on another structure.
