As a user, the manufacturer could ensure that the requirements defined in BS EN 16124 are met for the material grade specified in the order. The method of manufacture of low-alloyed ferritic spheroidal graphite cast irons and any heat treatment required to obtain the specified mechanical properties and the microstructure is left to the discretion of the manufacturer.
