National foreword

This British Standard is the UK implementation of EN ISO 19634:2021. It is identical to ISO 19634:2017. It supersedes BS ISO 19634:2017 and PD CEN/TR 13233:2007, which are withdrawn.

The UK participation in its preparation was entrusted to Technical Committee RPI/13, Advanced technical ceramics.

A list of organizations represented on this committee can be obtained on request to its committee manager.
