What is BS EN IEC 62769-2 about? 

BS EN IEC 62769-2 is the second part of a multi-series standard that deals with the options for collection and proper management of the information in various sectors. 

BS EN IEC 62769-2 specifies the FDI Client. The overall FDI architecture is illustrated in the FDI architecture diagram which includes FDI client, FDI package, OPC UA services and OPC UA client. BS EN IEC 62769-2 covers the architectural components highlighted in the FDI architecture diagram which include UID Interpreter, Hosting services, UIP services, User Interface Plug-in, User Interface Services, Platform UI Services.
