The UK participation in its preparation was entrusted to Technical Committee ISE/102, Methods of Chemical Analysis for Iron and Steel.

Foreword

This document was prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 132, Ferroalloys.

This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition (ISO 5446:1980), which has been technically revised to update the chemical composition and the particle size of ferromanganese.
