BS EN 14106 is a European standard on fat and oil derivatives that discusses the determination of free glycerol content in fat and oil derivatives to improve the quality of fat and oil derivatives.
BS EN 14106 specifies a gas chromatographic method for the determination of free glycerol content in Fatty Acid Methyl Esters (FAME) in the range of 0,005 % to 0,070 %, hereinafter referred to as FAME.
