ISO 12312 is an international standard on eye and face protection that discusses sunglasses and related eyewear to ensure protection to eyes against hazards.
ISO 12312-2 is the second part of the ISO 12312 series that applies to all afocal (Plano power) products intended for direct observation of the sun, such as solar eclipse viewing.
