BS EN ISO 14632:2021

What is ISO 14632 about?  

ISO 14632 discusses about Extruded sheets of polyethylene. ISO 14632 specifies the requirements and test methods for solid flat extruded sheets of polyethylene homopolymers (PE-HD) without fillers or reinforcing materials. 

ISO 14632 specifies all the technicalities such as material properties, dimensional tolerances, mechanical and thermal properties and gives details like preparation of test specimens, conditioning, delivery conditions, designations etc for solid flat extruded sheets of polyethylene homopolymers (PE-HD). 

Note: ISO 14632 is applicable only to thicknesses of 0,5 mm to 40 mm. ISO 14632 also applies to PE-HD sheet in rolled form.

What’s changed since the last update? 

BS EN ISO 14632:2021 supersedes EN ISO 14632:1998, which is withdrawn. 

The main changes compared to the previous edition are as follows: 

• The range of MFR values for PE HD sheet group 1 in Table 2 has been changed to cover the wider PE 100 grade of extruded PE HD sheets.
