This document specifies a test method for the verification of the total electrical resistance of electric detonators.

This document does not apply to non-electric, electronic, plain or semi-finished detonators.

This document does not apply to detonating cord relays, surface connectors, leading wires and shock tubes, coupling accessories, electronic initiation systems.
