BS EN IEC 60311:2019 supersedes BS EN 60311:2003+A2:2009, which is withdrawn. 

BS EN IEC 60311:2019 includes some technical changes with respect to BS EN 60311:2003+A2:2009. These include: 

• Introduction of clarifications on voltage and frequency to be applied for the tests 
• Introduction of an anti-circumvention subclause 
• Clarification on the procedure for measuring steaming rate 
• Clarification on type of water used for the tests 
• Clarifications and alignment with the relevant formula
