BS IEC 60479‑1 gives the values of body impedance depending on a number of factors, particularly, on the current path, touch voltage, duration of current flow, frequency, degree of moisture of the skin, surface area of contact, the pressure exerted, and temperature.
BS IEC 60479‑1 indicates some impedance values, resulting from a close examination of the experimental results available from measurements carried out principally on corpses and on some living persons.
