1 Scope
This document specifies the inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectral analysis
(ICP-OES) of aluminium and aluminium alloys. This method is applicable to the determination
of silicon, iron, copper, manganese, magnesium, chromium, nickel, zinc, titanium,
gallium, vanadium, beryllium, bismuth, calcium, cadmium, cobalt, lithium, sodium,
lead, antimony, tin, strontium, and zirconium in aluminium and aluminium alloys.
