BS EN 2436-004 is a standard that covers high corrosion and fluid resistant primer with surface preparation tolerance, enabling the application of primer on little or no prepared surfaces with any humidity and wet surfaces. 

BS EN 2436-004 specifies the basic requirements for two components, cold curing, chromate-free epoxy or polyurethane, high corrosion and fluid resistant primer with improved tolerance to the standard of surface preparation which can be used with or without a finish for aerospace applications. 

The properties specified in BS EN 2436-004 are obtained on defined aluminium alloy test pieces prepared in accordance with EN 3837, process D and ISO 3270.
