BS EN 2713-006 is a standard that covers braided screened and jacketed electrical cables for aerospace enabling the prevention of external electrical noise and stable operability under varying temperature conditions in aerospace applications.
BS EN 2713-006 specifies the characteristics of CO2 laser printable, single and multicore screened (braided) and jacketed electrical cables for use in the onboard electrical systems of aircraft, at operating temperatures between − 55 °C and 200 °C.
With BS EN 2713-006, it shall also be possible to mark these cables by hot stamp printing or inkjet printing. These markings shall be in accordance with BS EN 3838.
