ISO 22904 is an international standard on additions for concrete.
ISO 22904 specifies requirements for the properties for silica fume, siliceous fly ash and ground granulated blast furnace slag for use as a type II addition for the production of concrete.
NOTE: Fly ash produced with other types or higher percentages of co-combustion materials than those provided is not included in ISO 22904. Ground granulated blast-furnace slag containing any added materials other than grinding aids and/or gypsum (calcium sulphate) is not included in ISO 22904. ISO 22904 does not specify provisions for the practical application of additions in the production of concrete, mortar or grout, i.e. requirements concerning composition, mixing, placing, curing, etc.
