The BS ISO 5725 series is primarily intended for use by organizations in a wide range of industrial sectors who are developing standard measurement methods for testing for compliance with specifications or regulations.
The purpose of BS ISO 5725-1:2023 is to outline the general principles to be understood when assessing accuracy (trueness and precision) of measurement methods and results and in applications to establish practical estimations of the various measures by experiment.
