What is ISO 23308-3 about?  

ISO 23308-3 is the third part of the ISO 23308 series of standards that specifies general test criteria and requirements to measure the energy consumption for Container handling lift trucks during operation. The requirements for Laden and Empty container handlers are included in ISO 23308-3.

ISO 23308-3 specifies the method of energy consumption measurement for container handling lift trucks, as defined in ISO 5053-1.

Why should you use  ISO 23308-3?

Energy efficiency is important for both environmental reasons as well as economic reasons. ISO 23308-3 contains the procedures to determine the efficiency of Container handling lift trucks. The other parts provide a specific test Laden and empty container handlers. ISO 23308-3 specifies guidelines to test the energy efficiency of industrial trucks.  ISO 23308-3 also helps to check for operating sequence and test conditions of industrial trucks.
