Information about this document

This is a full revision of the standard, and introduces the following principal changes:

references to current British and European Standards have been updated;
clarification between:
1. prepacked concrete with cement or combinations of cement and additions covered by BS 8500‑2; and
2. non-standard concretes that contain a specified cement, or any cement other than those covered by BS 8500‑2; and
recommendations for production control have been introduced.
